It starts out with him being adopted and the owner adoring him, then the owner gets a girlfriend and doesn't give as much attention to the dog, then they get married and have a baby so they make the dog live outside for the baby's safety, then they decide to move and cannot take the dog with them so he is forced to give up the dog, and then the dog says he still loves the owner and is put to sleep. It went around may-be a year or two ago, I am writing a paper on animal euthanasia  and I would like to use a passage from the story. Can you help me find it? Thanks!</blockquote>
