looking to put several youth basketball teams together.?

i have a 14 yr. old son that is completely awesome at every sport he has ever participated in. but, the problem is we live in a very small town. and you dont get a lot of outside attention in a town of 750 people. so i got to thinking, there must be a lot of more kids out there, that never get recognized because they live in a small town. it gave me an idea, i could holler out across the internet and see how many parents and players 13-18 would respond to someone wanting to start up a new league for not only basketball, but baseball, football and cross-country and track competitions. so here i am, are you guys ready to get it started, when this takes off it will start around the Lufkin Texas area, but entries are welcome from the entire state of Texas and surrounding states of La, Ark and Ok. there will be a 2 wk. tryout and a 4 wk. training camp. if we can get enough parents and players to join. we will be able to start competing and playing within a few months. this will take a lot of support and devotion from not only me and all the coaches. but, from the parents and players. if we can help our children follow their dream and have a good time with family and friends while doing it. why not go for it. it would also be a great experience for the whole family. so send me an e-mail and tell me what you think. people from all other states are very welcome to e-mail as well. but, it will be 6-12 months before we can get enough players to get started. unless other parents would like to help out in getting this started so it would move a lot faster. i cant speak for the whole world. but, my greatest past time is seeing the smile on my son's face when he looked at me and winked when he hit an out of the park home run today. please everyone help spread the word, and this will go a lot faster.
