Make Flares/Bell Bottoms from regular pants?

I know that you can use old pants, and sew extra fabric on to turn them into bell bottoms/flare leg pants... Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial online on how to do this? If you can find one with step-by-step instructions and pictures I would be very grateful!

You'll Need:

thread
a strong needle
pants
extra cloth for the gores
pins
scissors
seam ripper (optional, but recomended)
something to measure with
chalk

Thread to match the weight and color of the heaviest fabric
Needle or sewing machine
Fabric for gusset
