the rest! For the past two pay periods, my payroll check bounced! Insufficient funds. Admin claims the owner, Paul Seimann is selling some real estate in Denver for a few million dollars to invest in the school which has been in operation for over 20 years in the Philadelphia area. This was supposed to have been a done-deal last week, but still, to my knowledge, hasn't happened. IF he gets the money, work is he WILL keep the school open and use that money to play catch-up and beyond. We have a goldmine of a school with great programs including Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy tech, and business and ESL.

We have an in-service meeting tomorrow--Friday, 8-8-08. This meeting has been planned for a couple of months. Allegedly, we will find out our fate tomorrow.

Anyone have any predictions? Hell, anyone know Paul?!

Our instructors are top-notch. We want to keep this school open. It's the best in the Philly area.

The person who guesses closest to what happens tomorrrow wins! Let's hope I don't "lose!"

I went to DPT in Northeast Philly starting in the Fall of 09, did this school shut down or what? I left because they signed me up for one program and failed to tell me that it was another one combined. I was hearing all kinds of complaints from students that they were not receiving their refunds. I was having financial difficulties in life and found a good job and it was way more important at the time than school, but still tried my best. I spoke to the department head and she asked what my bf was doing??? I walked out of the office demanded to speak with CFO and he unwillingly gave a small portion probably to keep me quiet. But I have been wondering and seen an aritcle online that they were raided. The website is broken and phone number out of service. How do I get my transcripts? Maybe they might be held accountable for a portion of my student loan and refund they never had any intention of dispursing

Can someone tell me why this schooled disappeared? I went to DPT business school 1999-2000 and now the school is shut down. It is now 2013 and I lost my diploma , I tried calling them, but it seems they went out of business. Great, so now what happens when any future employeers call them to verify my education?
