Making a bed for my dog?

I want to make a bed for my dog, who likes tearing things appart. I was wondering if anyone has any tips/links for how to make it, what to make it of and stuff like that?

I don't, but making a bed for your dog sounds really wonderful, they are as special as our own kids, aren't they? Sometimes they mind a little better too.
