The school I wanted to go to makes you sign a contract saying you can't start a martial arts school for two years once your contract is over...i dont like that idea, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

really retarded (no offense to special needs people) and I wouldn't go their bcuz they are probably afraid that you'll start a buisness and easily run them outta buisness :)

The school probably sucks immensely I say don't go there at all ever.

I wouldn't go to any place that makes you sign a contract because they are usually only in it for the money.

Don't sign.

Find another place that doesn't have contracts, only memberships. Don't ever do anything that feels uncomfortable to you.

Is this something in where you get a black belt in 2 year kind of thing?? How long does the contract last?? 1 year? 2 years? Do you really want to be trapped in a contract for that long? because I have been training for 10 years and I am not ready to open a school wouldn't dream of it!! This is most likely a mcdojo!
