Math equation: A cyclist bikes at a constant speed for 23 miles...?

"A cyclist bikes at a constant speed for 23 miles. He then returns home at the same speed but takes a different route. His return trip takes one hour longer and is 28 miles. Find his speed."

I know the answer is 5 mph because I have the answer key, but that doesn't help me learn :) I can't figure out how to set up the equation. I can solve equations just fine, just help me set up the equation, please :)
