I have a 2008 manual transmission. You will have to trust that I know how to drive. I live in Northern Indiana and cannot reliably get back and forth to work this winter. In fact, I cannot get into my steep driveway when the smallest amount of slickness is present. I have two choices. 1. Get rid of it and go back to a 4 WD or 2. Different tires? I have read postings on multiple boards about how awful the OEM tires are. However, I don't want to put new tires on the car if it isn't going to make a drastic difference. I suspect that the ground clearance of my car also plays a role in snowy travel. Does anyone have any helpful thoughts?
