Heres's the problem.
A 'N' reg Mazda 323 1800 cc auto. had its outer passenger drive shaft CV joint replaced. Job done at home after much ado but seemed to go OK. Test drive after the job resulted in the 'knocking around corners' problem (the reason for the job) apparently solved but now there appears to be severe tapping/vibration coming from the centre/underneath of the car, ie the inner drive shaft area.
The drive shaft was not removed from the gearbox during the job but there was a lot of hammer blows/leverage going on,Could something have gone amiss at the inner CV joint end?
Any ideas/suggestions welcomed.
