As the question says the speedometer i have on my 2003 protege does not have rpms, I came across a speedometer off a 2000 mazda protege w/ rpms. If i just switch them will the rpms come up or is mine missing a cable so that the rpms will not show up and the needle will just stay at zero?Just looking into a speedometer replacement... Do not want to add an rpm meter to my car and have to do crazy wiring. (Also think it looks dumb.)</blockquote>
