Me and this girl kissed but i can't tell if she is interested in me.?

OK, so i have been talking to this girl for a few months now and we decided to finally hang out outside of school. It went really well and we ended up cuddling on her bed while watching t.v. She then said she was really tired and wanted to take a nap so she turned over and got really close to me resting her head on my neck. She then started kissing my neck and we made out for a solid 45 minutes until her little brother walked in (lol). I thought this was a good sign because i really like this girl, but ever since then it seems like whenever i try to talk to her she doesn't even want to. Like she doesn't say it, but from the tone of her voice she just seems bothered. Any time i ask her to hang out again she always just says that she is really busy with work and school. I told my friend about it and he made the poor decision of asking her if she liked me and she said no. Now i don't know if she just said that because he was butting into her business or if she was honest. Because it definitely seemed like she was coming on to me considering she is the one who initiated the kissing, it's been about a week and i just don't know how to approach her about it, like if i just come out and say i like her it may make her uncomfortable and ruin our friendship, which i certainly don't want. But i know if i don't say anything i will really regret it later. I've been played before and it's certainly something i do not want to go through again.
