I've always thought about posting on yahoo answers, but i don't really have anyone to talk to anymore. So, why not? ( I feel kind of funny about posting this.. )
My friend.. Melissa (we'll just call her Melissa) have been the closest best friends for awhile now. Me, being stupid, liked her. It was okay at first, she was always my best friend before a simple crush. We were so close, but then as my feelings grew stronger, she started to feel the same way. We kept getting closer. If it wasn't for the fact she had a boyfriend, we probably would have gotten together.
To cut a real long story short.
I fell for her. She told me she was falling for me. Then she just, stopped caring? i don't know why. It just felt like she didn't care at all anymore. She even stopped talking to me. That went on for about, 2 months. Then last week, we got into a fight when i finally confronted her about how I've been feeling. She said she didn't know what to say. So i said, for the next few days, I'll stay with her, and if she had anything to say, she could say it.
(She has a hard time displaying her emotions)
She totally pretended everything was normal, as if, we hadn't had a period where we stopped talking. and then i got drunk, and once again, confronted her about how i was feeling towards, it. Said I just wanted to spend time with her and talk about things. Once again, she insisted on talking about every day things, despite me trying to discuss the matter.
Then later that day on the train, Because i travel over 3 hours just to get to where we go to where she lives. (Another 3 and a bit hour trip home, in which i did this everyday for her).
Anyway, on the trip home, i sent her a message, asking if she still felt the same way about me, her response, 'Just a phase'. I felt so bad, because she had led me on, telling me she had fallen for me etc. We then got into another confrontation, she told me, she actually was falling from me, outside of her little phase? Which confuses me so much!
I can't really talk to her, it really hurts. Because I've fallen for her. She's also my best friend. But it STILL feels like she doesn't care. I really don't know what to do anymore..
