I added a rather large pulsing colt coral to our 75 gallon sw tank last night after properly acclimating it to my system. It hasnt perked up all day and is looking rather dead i guess. All my levels are reading fine and my salinity is alright too. Any suggestions?
we added it straight to the tank. T5 lighting and we checked all of our levels and they are correct.
We have snails, hermit crabs, mythrax's currently. as for other corals we have star polyp, white zenia and galxia (all doing fine)

did you frag it? or added it to the tank?

also what type of lighting are you using? any other corals?

Colt coral is a soft coral and one of the easiest to keep, either it is still stressed, or your water parameters arent correct.... e.i calcium, mag, storngtium, iodine etc..

edit: chances are it is still stressed, even with corals you want to do a drip acclimation for saltwater.
