i drive a 90 toyota pickup and when i start to pick up speed from 0 to around 30 it makes a metal sqeeling noise coming from underneath in the middle of my truck. once i get past 30 though the noise stops until i stop at a stop light and then pick up speed again. occasionally it also makes the noise when i am coming to a stop but not always. i don't really know anything about vehicles. please help.

Sounds like a bearing in the transmission to me.

Could also be the throwout bearing for the clutch. ( If it has
a manual transmission ).

Have it checked.

May be a universal joing bearing going dry, and in need of grease, if they are greasable, or may need replaced.
