Mods are delightful things. All that effort, what with all the soldering, and welding, and disassembling, and assembling, all in the name of some hatchet-job custom peripheral or trinket...it's great. There's something about this NES Light Gun mod, though, that's really great.
I think it's the fact it looks like something a cyborg would wield in a bad 80s post-apocalyptic sci-fli flick. Or that if you look at ONLY the above pic, you can convince yourself the dude's so hardcore he's had it grafted onto his flesh. Either or! Luke Plunkett
