Ok, I have my 360's DVD Drive flashed with custom firmware so it can read backup games. With kids running around the house I like to have at least 1 backup copy of each of the games I buy in case the kids scratch them. It has been flashed for about 6 months and I got it Christmas of 2007 and everything has ran fine until one day I got black lines on my screen and ended up with one flashing light and a E74 screen. I have to send it in to Microsoft for repair. Although I have heard of people sending their 360's in with flashed DVD firmware and having no problems, do you think I should put the original firmware back on my 360?
Also, does Microsoft send you a temporary replacement console while yours is in repair?
Thanks
