its going to be my moms 50th birthday soon and i plan on going all out im so excited to have this party... but i need some ideas of some fun things to do.. maybe something you've seen, things you've done for your family, or things you enjoyed people doing for you any ideas would be helpful
 
some fun parties that my family has thrown:

hat party: everyone has to wear a hat

mustache party: everyone has to wear a mustache.

dance lessons. teach the whole room a dance (simple enough for everyone to do).

we also do who know YOUR MOM BEST? Give our papers with questions about your mom. random trivia that people throughout her life might know the anser to. collect them and give a prize to the person who knew her best. the read some of the funnny answers.
