I am a new rider in the motorcycle world so I have a question.
I ride a 1991 Harley FLSTC *handmedown* and it hasnt been ridden for around 3 years.
I recently got it in running condition and took it out today.
I replaced the battery with an HD battery about a week ago. and i did not charge the battery when i put it in the bike, i just put it in and it started.
so now a week later im riding around town, i stop for a bit, go to start my bike and the battery doesnt have enough power to turn the bike over.
Is this due to me not charging the battery fully before putting it in the bike? or do i have another problem?
*i store the bike in my garage and put the kickstand up on a piece of plastic like they have at the harley shop for their bikes*
*i bought a 12 volt battery charger (1 amp 2-12 hours) at advanced and it is currently hooked up to my bike. should i be good to go after this?
