Everytime I try to rename certain .mp3 files, it won't work! I have Windows XP and yes I know how to rename them, change titles and use the advanced tag editor in Windows Media Player. However, when right-clicking on these files and trying to rename them, I can't type any characters and the computer makes that beeping noise when text is blocked off (if you know what I mean), but there shouldn't be a max character limit for these files...anyone have any advice (ASIDE from changing to a new OS, new media player, or getting new mp3 files -_- serioulsy, don't answer with that!) Thanks in advance.
- READ the question, I KNOW how to change them in the usual ways but these files are being stubborn!
- the files are on my computer, not my mp3 player
- I was not using the files when trying to rename them
- The files do play and even after playing them, I am still not able to rename them.
- Moved them to the desktop and here I was able to rename them. When I tried to move them back though, Windows said the file name was too long and I needed to change it...anyone to adjust the character limit? ^_^"" (no I don't want to change the name =P)
