Nicole Willis & the Soul Investigator's Keep Reachin' Up would be a sure-fire year-end-list contender for one of your Idolators--except for the fact that Reachin' was actually released overseas last year (apparently, a retro-soul record as good as this doesn't go unnoticed in the U.K. and Japan).
