This may sound far fetched but i'm worried that i have been misdiagnosed. Last monday, i was really ill, had aches and pains, had a lump under my ear and told by a doctor that it was a swollen lymph gland and that i had the flu and was given antibiotics. But yesterday i went to another doctor because my gland had become much more swollen and i was told i had the mumps. He took a blood test and will have the results next tuesday. But after monday night, i didnt think i had the flu so i looked up swollen lymph glands and one of the causes was throat cancer at its secondary stage....now i'm afraid that the second doctor is wrong because i've become really hoarse and my gland has swollen more and is really sore around my throat...if anyone knows please tell me....sorta panicking here....i'm 18 and scared!
