It's actually my friends and I think it's either the hub/bearing assembly or ball joints. He said its been doing it for a few months but today it made a real bad Pop noise when he turned out of a parking lot. Any ideas?
That sounds like your axle. When your turn your axle bends in the joint. The joint is probably worn out which causes the popping noise.
Go to an empty parking lot and just drive in circles left then right if it's popping it's your axle assembly.
