My child used to do the same thing, so my husband and I would put him in the car and drive around until he fell asleep, and it worked. When you try to put her down for a nap put a movie in and let her go, she should fall asleep, she will eventually grow extremely tired of not getting enough sleep and will fall out of this stage

She's never been very good on sleeping through the night, but in the past couple of weeks, every time she needs a nap or to go to bed, she screams and cries relentlessly. I've tried letting her cry it out, music, bath, stories, holding her, just everything I can think of. Nothing is working, she still gets hysterical when she has to go to bed, and wakes several times during the night doing the same thing. Going in to her and telling her 'It's ok, mama's here" and trying to soothe her only makes it worse as she won't be calmed by anything besides me picking her up and holding her, only to have to do it again in a hour or two. Does anyone have any advice that I haven't tried?? THANKS!!! I'm going crazy!
