We have been told it could be connected to the anti-theft wiring. It will crank and then shut off but no instruments register that the key is on and no controls on the steering work the radio etc. while this is ocurring. It will crank over and over but cut off immediately. So far it has reconnected whatever is shorting and it cranks up after repeated tries and eventually runs fine. We had someone look at it and he could not find anything registering as a short and could not get it to duplicate the problem. A week later it does it again. Has anyone had this kind of problem or anyone have a clue what to check?
