it doesnt look like it is healing well. when we were at the hospital with her yesteday the nurse took a look at it and said that it looked fine and that we needed to just keep wiping around it with alcohol and it would just eventually fall off by itself. but I read that it would be falling off by around 2 weeks. it doesnt even look close to being ready to come off. it still bleeds and it sticks to her dialers so when I change her it snags it and bleeds again. just the tip of it is dried up. I go back with her on Friday, but I am scared to wait. is this normal? has anyone else had this problem with their newborn?
