My 2000 nissan maxima SE keeps shutting off!!! HELPP!!?

Every time i start her up its fine but when i have it in park and i rev the engine to 2RPMs and release the accelerator, it dies out. But it drives fine and never cuts out when i'm driving. Theres still power going through car so i know it has nothing to do with the battery. only when i'm in park and rev the engine it dies out. Can any one tell me what the problem is??
 
You have a faulty sensor that needs to be replaced
Most auto part stores have a hand held computer you can barrow to plug into the car and find out for sure.
