My son is turning 23 months old here in a few days and he says a few words that I can understand like momma and ya and no...When he says words he kind of leaves part of the word out like he watches Oobi and calls it Bi...He goes around the house "talking" in his own little language it kinda sounds like gottagottagotta he says that all the time i don't know what that even means! When he tries to say a new word he kinda puts his head down as if he is embarrassed. Even though we give him lots of praise when he attempts to say a word. I just know that he should be saying more than what he is saying and i am concerned. He has had his ears tested and he can hear me. He goes around and points and grunts at things that he wants. When we look at books he can point at certain things that I ask and he understands what I am saying. He just doesnt talk! what should I do?
