My 6 month old cries and whines all the time?

My 6 month old son just got him bottom two teeth about a week ago. Now
all he does is sleep and cry. When he is not sleeping he is crying. He wants to sleep all day and wakes up several times at night for feedings. Please give me tips or anything that might help. Thanks
he cries about every 5 minutes if he isnt being held. I have another child who needs my attention too.
do they teethe that close together?

Yep, sounds like teething. Baby Orajel and such will help. Frozen wet washcloths, teething rings and your finger will soothe him a bit, also. Sucking a bottle or something, juice or water, will probably help him. Usually the next few teeth won't hurt him as much.

it sounds like he's gotten his days and nights switched for one thing, don't let him sleep so long during the day, or you will never get any sleep. He could be teething on the top two now teeth now, but it's possible that it's his new teeth rubbing on his gums that is bothering him. Get the BABY lanocaine and rub some on his upper gums and see if that helps, he'll likely hate the taste, and don't use too much or you'll numb his tongue, but it might help. Also try giving him a wet washcloth to chew on, or a thick carrot stick (which won't break off) or a pickle. He's old enough for solids now, so make sure to do that every meal which should help with getting his days and nights sorted, and try to keep him awake in between, in the jolly jumper or play games with him, he'll still need his nap but try to keep it reasonable.. He's most likely teething and in pain. You can get some medications (like baby aspirin type things) to make the pain a little better. Go to your local pharmacy and ask some of the pharmacists for help.

Believe it or not, I am HAPPY my daughter is crawling. My daughter stopped most of her fussing when she started to crawl. I honestly think she was just bored! So she cried to get my attention. Now, she is focused on crawling to the next toy so she doesnt whine anymore.
Hopefully ur little one will be like thsi! Hang in there!
