...compensation from Citroen? I have a 2001 Citroen C5 wagon.
Yesterday I was going down a slight hill and I had to brake immediately, my brakes shuddered and I could feel this through the steering wheel.
I gave it a good 3-4 metres to stop, but the car kept rolling forward, though the speed was reduced, it was still moving, I swerved to minimise damages, and I got away with a scraped side panel and a blown headlight.
I also had a brakes servicing a week before, however the Citroen cars are known to have braking issues. I had my brakes serviced at a general auto shop in Strathfield, NSW.
However Citroen brakes requirer a special tool to have brakes serviced.
Who is REALLY at fault?
Can I claim compenstation or some sort of investigation?
It was pretty scary when it happended...like an F**** car that couldn't stop.
cheers
