I ordered it online supposedly "brand new". It did come with plastic coverings stuck all over it, so I didn't question the brand new part.
I've been researching this online, and I think there's a good chance it may be a problem with the internal antenna...maybe loose or something. The symptoms I'm having with it are somewhat strange. Sometimes I don't get any service, sometimes I get "emergency" service, and then sometimes I appear to get my normal AT&T service with a full signal, everything. But even when I appear to have a full signal, it won't let me make or receive calls. It will, however, read my sim card and let me view my contacts, and I have tested the sim card in another phone and it worked fine, so I'm pretty sure it's a phone-specific problem I have here. What type of phone problem? Not sure, but like I said, I think there's a good chance it's the antenna from reading online. It's weird though, because at one point it did send one text successfully. Loose antenna?
