My Burner Burns all except DVD-R-Help?

My DVD burner is not consistent, Sometimes it burns most of the times it doesn't, however it has no problems doing everything else, I just cannot Write onto my DVD-R blanks! It did a couple of times I even bought a new patch of philip Blanks and it worked ontill the next morning it stop detecting again!

How can I fix this?
