My cadillac is misbehaving?

when i stop at a light, the car starts to kick and it sounds like the motor is going to turn off but it hasn't turned off yet. could it just be that i need a tune up or something?
 
You did not say what year, or engine size, mileage, Etc. only GENERIC information then we can only give Generic answers. The more info we can get the better we can steer you in the write direction. Yes is I would start with a tune up. But it could be something more simple and cost effective to repair if you brought it in. wish I could help you out more but I need the info 1-st.
