my car has the smell of burning rubber in it? It seems to run ok...?

I just got a new battery less than a week ago. It did stall out this morning when I tried starting it and didn't want to start, and then I let it sit a minute or so and tried again and it started. I noticed the smell after a 2 hour drive. Now I smell it almost all the time since that, that was on Sat. It's a buick century 98 with 61,000 miles on it. Any idea what it could be?
