I'd say in addition to having them pay for the damage you could ask for a rental car to provide transportation during the time they now have to spend fixing your car.

My car's starter broke on Monday night. I called the tow truck recommended by the dealer to tow the car and they came and did so.

However, the next day the dealer told me the car was not drivable because it seems as if it had been in an accident because my front bumper and the driver side fender were all messed up. When I went to see the car, the dealer told me the radiator is leaking and it seems as if the guy either dropped my car or backed up into it. The towing company never notified me this happened, but when I called them they just told me to take some pix and give it to them and they will fix it. I didn't even need to raise my voice.

What else can I get out of them? I currently don't have a car and I have to wait untill they repair it. What should I do to make sure I make the best out of this or to make sure they do what they are supposed to do and not take advantage of me since I have been easy on them so far? I will request a car in the meantime. What can I do and not do in this situation?

first off that sucks. and second off i know they are a bunch of leeches but its bad karma. do unto others as you wish done to yourselves

If the towing company already admitted to doing the damage, then they have commited themselves to making whole all your losses. All your losses would include a rental car for transportation while your car is down. I was in the body shop business and have seen a lot of these types situations. Be the better person here and get what you are due, but please don`t be one of these people that try and rip off the person that done the damage by trying to get a bunch of crap that was already damaged or broken. The towingcompany'ss insurance will probably go up in any case unless they pay for it out of their ownPockett which is tough into dayss economy. But all that being said, you do have all your losses coming to you. Make notes of every conversation you have with every oneinvolvedd with names and datesin casee you have to go to court to collect. Verbals and hearsay won`t get you any where in a court of law.
