My cat just got outside and the neighbour's dog chased him up a tree. When I got him down one of his front claws ( I don't know the technical name but the one of the inside) was torn almost completely off and was bleeding a little bit. He seems to have chewed or pulled the claw off himself and the bleeding has stopped. He is licking it quite a bit but isn't limping when he walks on it and doesn't seem too distressed. The vets are closed and the earliest I can get him to one is tomorrow morning. I am just wondering if there is anything I should do like bath it or bandage it? I have him confined to one room so he can run around on it too much.
