some files...? I have Windows Vista with McAfee antivirus. I'm running a 5 meg DSL connection.

I've been having trouble with my internet going very slowly, and a lot of my C drive is more than half full. I went to remove unneeded programs, but it only removed a tiny bit of the space. I checked in program files and there were a few files I'm not familiar with, and don't remember downloading. Can someone tell me if these are ok, or what they are affiliated with, or if I should work on removing them?

NOS (found in program files, is an empty folder)
MSBuild
Spybot
Installshield Installation Information (unable to click or look at)
illiminable with a sub folder oggcodecs (oggcodecs is empty)

Roxio is also on my computer, I dunno how it got there if it didn't come with the system, but I'd like to remove it.

Thanks!!!!
I'd rather not remove anything until I know what it is and why it's there.

Do not remove files from Program files, unless you know what you are doing. you will totally screw up your computer. Only remove programs from ADD and Remove Programs.

You can remove the unfamiliar ones. If you start having problems because those programs were needed, you can do a system restore and the programs will return.
