My dad keep on smoking?

My dad keep on smoking! All day 1-3 cigarette, his breath is really bad, so my mom would never kiss him. I want my dad to quit smoking, my dad looks like he doesn't cares. I don't want my dad to suffer from cancer or pass away. My mom said that when my dad was about 12, he started smoking, it wasn't in the US of course illegal. He was smoking in Vietnam since I was not born yet. How do I stop my dad from smoking? Is Marlboro brand cigarette bad for you?
 
You cannot stop him as it's his body etc, if his breathe smells recommend him to mints or mouthwash.
 
Just try to ask him nicely about it and if you tries to deny it just plead him and ask him about therapy or/and rehab if he STILL denies it say "You can die sooner and I don't want that" and hug him and maybe if possible cry alittle bit.
