My Dish DVR keeps recording!?

I accidentally set a reminder for a show that comes on pretty much every 3 hours. How do I cancel the recording of the show?
I know how to skip one recording but that's not what I want... I want to completely cancel the recordings

Mine did that.I click on the show before it starts and cancel it.Easiest way is hit "daily schedule" ,click on the show and delete.Usually stops all future recordings for that show.You can also go through your daily schedule (main menu) and delete all that you don't want.

scroll to find the show.
press it, then press delete.
