The twitching is because of their dreams.
Honestly it is. Cats do it too when they're having a specific dream or a nightmare. Best thing to do is not to touch them as it can cause issues.
But he should be fine. If you're worried still in a few days just ring up the vets.
his ears and mouth start twitching to and his eyes also twitches too. Anyone know what this is caused by? Btw, i sent him to the vet yesterday and he got an antibiotic jab and was put on saline drip to make him pee his fever out.
when dogs sleep they tend to twitch it's just them playing in their dream, all 3 of my dogs do it, i think it's cute, it means they're having a good dream/sleep
Dogs get sick from time to time, nothing to worry about. Dogs also twitch in their sleep while they dream. It's nothing unusual. My dog does that as well. It's kind of entertaining to watch. He even does soft barking in his sleep.
So don't worry about it. It's completely normal.
well from what i know, lots of dogs do that whent hey are dreaming. mine kinda does that. her eyes twitch and she kicks a little and sometimes does quiet barks. if your dog acts normal when he is awake id say that thats all it is. im assuming its something more since the vet saw reason to give him a saline drip and antibiotics....but to me that sounds like normal dog sleeping behavior...unless they do it constantly while sleeping

poor thing, my dog twitches in his sleep sometimes, but its rare. I think he has little "hunting" dreams. your dog may be having dreams or they could be convulsions, he could be epileptic. hope your vet makes him better.
