My dog licks our cabinets? Why?

I have a rottweiler who is pretty old.
He will just sit in the kitchen and lick the floors and the cabinet doors...all of the time.
why is this?
and its not because of lack of food because we feed him normally

my dog does this aswell, he licks walls, cabinets etc. It's because of the grease residue that sticks to it, during cooking or eating etc. Nothing to worry about.

The Lack er on the cabinets is salty and the whatever you are cleaning the floors with is probably scented. Or you have a dirty house.
