my ex-best friend spreads rumors about me!?

my old best friend keeps telling all her 'friends" that im such a bitch, blah blah blah. And obviously they believe her. I didnt end my friendship with her for no reason, i had a perfectly normal reason to stop being her friend. my old friend had been neglecting me and ignoring me, and she didnt trust me anymore and she never told me ANYTHING or texted me. and whats even worse is that She did this AFTER i confronted her about it.

And now shes spreading stuff to her "friends (not that she has very many) but it really rEALLY bothers me. We were best friends for Four years, and i would've thought she wouldve still had some respect for me. On the other hand, i havent told ANYBODY what she did to me, and then she's going on telling people that im mean and whatever.

And after 6th period, she recruits her friends in front of my classroom and tries to act like shes having such a good old time without me, ha-ha-ha...
and whenver she sees me in the halls, she tries to start talkign to someone and starts to laugh as if she was trying to make me jealous (?)
PLEASE HELP. she doesnt respect me AT ALL, even after being friends for 4 years!! WHATS WRONG WITH HER??

she probably just feels like pointing out how much of a loser you are. let her continue to do this, shes doing the world a favor.

can i ask what grade your in? sounds like she's just.. well obsessed with not liking you .. called an hate crush. i know this doesn't sound helpful but the best thing to do about this is NOT GIVE IN TO IT. this is a trick she wants you to appear jealous! but just act like your fine and don't notice her acting like that and that will p i ss her off even more. by not giving in to it makes her feel like she's lost. OR if you really want to try and work things out with her say it face to face talk to her about it but NOT over txt msg , msn or whatever. because she could show other people and laugh about it. and make sure no one else is around while talking to her about it because she would try and act different when their around. and for the rumor thing who cares. trust me ive been a victim of rumors, HORRIBLE ones and the best thing to do is to completely ignore. your true friends will stick by you and believe you and THEY are the only ones who will ever matter. please just trust me, and good luck sweetie
