My ferret Daffodil is 6 years old. She stopped eating drinking, and was having loose bowel movements and wasn't playing anymore so I rushed her to the vet. I left her there for two nights hoping she would get better and today she had gotten way worse. They were giving her fluids and antibiotics but she has just gotten worse and still has a bad fever. I wanted to go further with testing to find out what was wrong and he said he didn't think she would make it through blood being draw and stuff. So I brought her home to see if I could get her better myself and if she isn't better by tommorow morning i'm supposed to take her back to get put to sleep. So my question is has anyone ever had this happen to their ferret and what did you do about it?
