Hi there Yahoo Answerers,
So my problem with my nook began during my Spring Break. For Spring Break, I decided to take a road trip with a family member down to North Carolina and visit some family friends. I took my Nook with me because I thought I would read a book when it wasn't my turn to drive.
Anyways, just a few hours ago, I was turning my Nook on (by the way, my Nook was registered with Barnes and Noble through the wifi at my house-just a side note) and it wouldn't turn on. And I'm pretty sure my mistake was pushing the power button as to turn it off, and then doing the same to turn it on again. When I did that, the Nook screen flashed something like, "Installing updates" and it went through the same processes as it did the first time I got it - like offering a tour. Then I go onto my Nook and I hit the "Reading Now" button and it said that no books were present in my library....I just downloaded a book on Friday.
Now my Nook is telling me I need to register with BN and I need to have a Wifi hotspot (My goal is to connect to BN and see if I can download my books to my Nook from there). The people I am staying with have one but I don't want to go through the whole entire process of registering my Nook with their Wifi hotspot.
What can I do? Is there any other way to remedy this problem?
Thanks.
P.S. I'm on a smaller computer so if words are mispelled or the grammar structure seems awkward, I apologize, it is hard to manuever around this laptop.
Again, Thanks.
