I recently aquired my first horse a 4 year old mare. She Is the sweetest thing, when I go out to get her from pasture she meets me in the corral. The problem starts when I try to lead her. As soon as we get out of the gate she goes for the greener grass. I can sometimes pull her head up but then she just plants her feet and refuses too move. She is not stalled with unlimited access to pasture (not at night), so she can't be hungry. She just wants to snack on the greener grass. It's gotten to the point to where it is almost impossible to bring her back in, even with grain.
