My internet constantly disconnects its self. It's new and it happened to my old wired router (this one is wireless), I have an alarm that connects to the phone line and a sky box but they are both filtered. also my laptop doesn't have a virus and it happens when using the internet on my PS3, it works again when I reset the router but it's so frustrating. Please help me, I just don't know what to do with it.

you need to find out when the internet disconnects. I had my router connected to the phone line with a splitter, and a regular filtered phone on the other port of the splitter. whenever the phone rang, and i answered using that phone, i lost internet. took me a month to figure out, but it could be something as simple as that.
Since its wireless, there could be interferance from speakers, microwaves, or anything else. also, i found that when downloading lots of informaiton, if i made too many connections (windows limits them normally, but that can be altered) it would drop my connections.
You should think about all this, and maybe call your ISP, who knows, maybe theyve been having issues with the new router.

Not sure what port you are using but try visiting your router's manufacturer website and the PS3 site, search the sites for port information. Many games have specific ports that will solve these problems.
