my internet is all of a sudden going slower could this be bcause my modem is

going bad...? if not what else could it be its not my router because with a direct connection to the modem is just as bad, and i emailed my isp they said everything was fine on their end

Possibilities:
1. Internet Temp Folder has lots of Junks. Clean Them
2. Clean the History, Temp and Cookies
3. Use CCleaner to Fix the Registry
4. You computer maybe lack some Speeds
5. Remove Softwares that can slow the computer
6. Use Light Weight Anti Virus Software like NOD 32, Avira, Kaspersky.

well for one thing if you other people using the internet that may cause your internet connection slow do you if anyone else is using the internet as well? did you put a password on your router? if someone is downloading large files it will affect your internet.
