My internet is extremely slow at the moment, ( 10 kb/s) generally...please help!!!?

I live in an area which only supports up to 1 meg on a bt land line and its also a non cable are for virgin (because the vilage i live in is reasonably new) i generally download at abouts 150 kb/s and i'm on orange as my isp ...any solutions?

1)If your system internet speed is very slow. First reset your modem

3)Use different browser..

connection. So use a good antivirus software to remove all virus and
malwares .
