my internet keeps screwing up on the wii, any attachments or anything else i can buy?

my wireless internet or WIFI on the WII keeps f'ing up, i love playing mario kart wii online but my wireless internet at home for some reason wont connect to the wii so i had to keep using someone elses, now i think they moved and im completely disconnected from the internet or WIFI.
is there any hardware i can buy or anything i can do to keep my WIFI stable and my online mario kart fix constant? im freaking out man!!

there is a connection you can plug into the back of your wii so that you can hook up an ethernet connection to your wii that way you want have to have a wireless internet
