My iphone 5 got wet, help?

More specifically, it fell into the toilet. Anyways, i took it out immediately and dried it off as much as i could. When i checked if it was still on it was fine but after a while it died and wouldn't come on. Currently it's sitting in some rice but i'm not sure if it will work because it took like 20 minutes before i could actually do some damage control. If it doesn't turn on after the rice thing what do i do?

Make sure you have completely shut down the power, then ask customer service for help immediately.

Well that's easy, if you have the warranty you can get it fixed!

You should have turned it off immediately. Putting on rice is a good idea, also blow dry it and wait for a few more days before turning on. It may look dry but it could still be wet on the inside. I don't think your warranty will accept a damaged phone due to water accident, only factory defects. Good luck.
