I had a question about a phone that was stolen from my vehicle when a few days ago when I was arrested. I had two passengers with me, a friend and his cousin. They were allowed to leave, but my friend who was the front passenger came back and got something from the middle of my car where I had an ipod and iphone which I paid $500+ dollars for. When I got my car back I noticed both were missing and the police officer who wrote down what property I had in my vehicle said he saw my friend take an ipod and probably my iphone too. So he didn't write them down. So later that day I found out my friend did have my ipod, but he said he didn't have my iphone. So I called at&t and reported my phone stolen and found out that there had been outgoing calls placed on my phone after it had been stolen, so I called the last number that had been called and the person that answered told me that he had been called by my friend with my phone. What should I do to get enough proof so i can get it back legally or reimbursed for it? Thank You.
